I once took a chance at love one day
And slipped and fell in all the way
It covered me from the top of my head
To the bottom of my feet
And I do say, I have never felt so complete
To have shared something so special and so deep
With someone whom I was forbidden to meet.
Through stolen moments and secret dates
We found the time to celebrate
A quiet walk through the park
A soft place to lay, a secret place to play
The park became our hideaway
We fell into each other’s arms
And on a blanket of leaves we lay
To celebrate our love and each other on a warm summer day.
