What Ifs….

If I were to come upon a door in life

And do not open it

Would I live with regret and what ifs

If I were to sing a song but not

Its sweetest melody

Would its meaning be the same

Would that song sound just as sweet

If I were to live my life wishing for something to return

Could I miss my only opportunity

To love those who are loving me

To see all the gifts that God has given me

To take each sacrifice

As a lesson to move on and be free.

If I  continue to love the deepest love in me

Can I live my life completely?

Will I then be true to me

If I can give God all the love within me

And will he in time set my heart free
